Mark Tarlecki is a Culinary Arts Instructor at North Montco Technical Career Center located in Lansdale. He teaches students in grades nine through twelve He has a Master’s of Education and Bachelors of Business Administration in Management/Organization Management from Temple University. From 1993 to 2004, he was one of the co-owners of the Hickory Pit Barbecue Restaurant once located in the North Wales Train Station.
Mark and his wife Monica reside on South 4th St in North Wales They have two daughters and five grandchildren. Mark and Monica are members of St Rose of Lima Parish. Mark was a member of North Wales Borough Council from 2006 to 2017 and is currently Chair for the Borough Planning Commission. In addition, he was an active member for the North Wales 2040 Comprehensive Plan Committee and currently volunteers as co-chair for the North Wales 150th Anniversary Committee.
Mark is asking to be elected to North Wales Borough Council Ward 2. When elected, he plans to make it his priority to work with Borough Administration and Council to insure implementation of the 2040 Comprehensive Plan and equally important to develop a long term plan for street improvement in the Borough.
