Ruth understands local decisions have an enormous impact on the quality of peoples’ everyday lives. As a lifelong resident of Montgomery County, Ruth stands for sensible policies that reflect our community values. Ruth has a proven record of public and community service. She brings her experience serving as Cheltenham Township Finance Officer and Township Controller and held leadership roles in American Cancer Society, Rotary International, and Parent-Teacher organizations. Ruth was honored to serve as Montgomery County Commissioner for 8 years bringing innovative ideas and completing 42 miles of the Perkiomen trail. Ruth graduated from Temple University with a B.S.W. and is the proud mother of 4 and 9 grandchildren.
