Deborah has been a resident of Hatfield since 1975. She holds a Master's Degree in History and Museum Studies from the University of Delaware, and a teaching certificate in Social Studies from Gwynedd Mercy University. Deborah has been active in Hatfield as a Girl Scout leader/cookie mom and Home and School volunteer, as well as supporting the youth soccer, baseball and swimming programs. She currently works as a substitute teacher in a nearby school district. Deborah is interested in using her background to work on preservation and open space issues, as well as using her teaching skills to be more communicative with her Ward 3 neighbors, bringing more transparency to local government. Deborah wants to see Hatfield continue to grow and be a welcoming community to everyone and hopes that she can bring a fresh voice to the Board as she sees running as an opportunity to give back to the community. Deborah and her husband, Kim, have 2 grown children and a granddog.
