Magisterial District Judge Edward Levine has been the district judge for Lansdale, Towamencin, Hatfield Borough and Wards 2,3,&4 of Hatfield Township since 2015. Judge Levine grew up outside of Washington D.C. and attended the University of Maryland for a degree in Journalism. In 2001 Judge Levine moved up to Lansdale and attended Temple University Beasley School of Law graduating in 2006 while raising his twin boys. After law school Judge Levine worked at various law firms in matters ranging from workers comp to class action lawsuits. In 2015 Judge Levine was elected as district judge and has presided over one of the busiest courts in the state. His court handles traffic, non-traffic, preliminary criminal matters, small claims and landlord tenant matters.
