Constable

Dave Schuetz, is an Army Reserve veteran who was born in an Army hospital during the Vietnam war. He is the son of an Army Reserve Veteran, the grandson of a WWII Navy Black Cat pilot, the great grandson of a WWI submariner, and the great-great-great-great grandson of a Pennsylvania 9th Cavalryman who served during the Civil War. His family heritage informs a deep patriotism which drives him to serve.  Since moving to Hatfield nearly 20 years ago, Dave has volunteered in numerous community service projects including tree planting, food drives and stream clean-ups.  Dave donates blood when he can and much of his annual back yard garden is donated to our local food banks.  He was a Cub Scout Den Leader for 3 years.  He volunteered to serve as a stand-in Judge of Elections during the height of the Pandemic in June 2020.

Dave is a loving spouse and proud father of two amazing boys who attend school in the NPSD.  He has a BBA from Temple University and works as an independent consultant in Risk Management.

Dave believes strongly in the power of community involvement and for his efforts, was recently honored with a Certificate of Special Recognition for Civic Engagement by the office of U.S. Representative Madeline Dean and the North Penn Area Democratic Committee Rising Star award for his work engaging with voters over the past 4 years.  The odds are, if you vote in Hatfield, Dave has been to your door at least once to encourage and remind you to vote.

Dave is running for Constable for two reasons:

  • To preserve and protect the integrity of our elections here in Hatfield.
  • To ensure that the voters who elect their constables are served by those same constables. Our county courts should not have to rely entirely on constables from other counties to get the job done.  For years, no constable elected by Hatfield voters has provided services to the Montgomery County courts.  This needs to change.

Elect Dave Schuetz to be your next Constable.
