Katelyn Lampley is running for Hatfield Township Tax Collector. She was born the oldest of four children in Upper Gwynedd Township where she lived for her entire childhood and graduated from North Penn High School in 2008.
After high school, she attended Millersville University. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education. She was employed as a Reading Intervention Teacher at Oak Park Elementary School while she earned her Master of Science degree in Special Education at Gwynedd Mercy University. She then worked as a fourth-grade teacher in Harrisburg, PA until her first son was born.
Katelyn stayed at home with her son while earning her real estate license. She has been employed as a real estate agent for Berkshire Hathaway Homeservices Fox & Roach, Realtors since 2017.
Katelyn and her husband became property owners in Hatfield Township in 2015 in Ward 2. This home welcomed three sons and a Yellow Labrador Retriever. Being a life-long resident of Montgomery County, Katelyn has always known that she would like to raise her family in a welcoming community and Hatfield Township has proven to be just that.
Public service has always been very important to Katelyn which is why she is interested in getting involved in the community and helping Hatfield Township move in a positive and inclusive direction. Her strong customer service skills, organization and attentiveness will serve as an asset for our community.
If given the honor of representing Hatfield Township as their Tax Collector, Katelyn promises to work for the residents and to be available for assistance whenever it is needed. It is her goal to make tax payment as convenient as possible. She is looking forward to running and making a difference while working for Hatfield Township.
